The AMS Vans family will be there featuring our popular long channel rear entry wheelchair van. The long channel van has room for four able bodied passengers as well as room for TWO wheelchair users. This handicap accessible van is perfect for a family or business offering wheelchair accessible transportation. The minivan features an extended ramp and a floor lowered 10” that eliminates the need for expensive and unreliable kneeling systems. The rear entry system is perfect for loading and unloading in a garage or parking garage where additional space on the sides of the handicap van aren’t available. All long channel rear entry vans come with Q’Straint wheelchair straps FREE! ($350+ value) These wheelchair straps are self retracting and provide a perfect fit every time, eliminating the tangled mess of ordinary wheelchair straps. In addition to prices tens of thousands less than most if not all competition, AMS Vans will be offering a special pricing during the Atlanta Abilities Expo 2010.
The Atlanta Abilities Expo 2010 is three days of cutting edge products and services allowing the disabled and their families discover the latest in assistive technology and retail products. Exhibits range from automotive and wheelchair van conversions, bathroom equipment, beds, furnishings, clothing, daily living aids, sports and exercise equipment, home medical equipment, ramps and lifts, home medical care, and wheelchair and scooters. In addition to these exhibits there will be featured events including an artist market, adaptive sports games, dancing performances, comedy acts, and a Kids Corner. Workshops available include the Fair Housing Act workshop that will teach you how you can obtain funds to complete your modifications needed to make your home accessible. Other workshops detail travel tips for people with disabilities, and ways to boost your disabled child’s vocabulary skills. This Expo truly has something for everyone in the family.
