AMS Vans attributes this expansion to their LOYAL Customers!

AMS Vans, Inc., located in Norcross, GA, is thrilled to announce the expansion of their facility. Having been the largest mobility dealer in the southeast region for several years, they were already accustomed to maintaining an impressive inventory of up to 100 vans at a time. However, a steady increase in their sales numbers over the past two years has placed a demand to have even more inventory moving through the showroom so that customers can continue to have a wide array of vans from which to choose.
The previous facility was 80,000 square feet and had become a tight squeeze, with growth in both inventory and staff, which has doubled in number in the past year. The expansion will now provide a generous 102,000 square feet, allowing for plenty of room to show off their product lines, another area in which new additions exist. It’s an ever-changing environment at AMS, as they strive to keep up with the needs of their customer base and remain on the leading edge in the industry.
AMS fully attributes this expansion to the loyalty of their customers, who frequently come back to purchase new vans when they are ready to trade in their older AMS conversions, which have served them well for years. “We are so grateful to have these customers as part of our AMS family and we thank them sincerely for our success. It’s our honor to serve them and we hope to continue doing so for years by offering quality conversion products at a price to fit even the most challenging budget. When completed in February of 2008, the new, expanded facility will include a custom-built showroom that flows beautifully for easy browsing of van after van. Customers can begin their visit with a full demonstration of the three basic conversion types in the demo area, then can freely peruse the large selection of ready-to-roll converted vans, all on display right there in the showroom. Mobility consultants will be on hand to assist customers with their shopping process and ensure that the chosen van is the perfect fit for that customer’s needs. The business offices will be located just off of the showroom, so the final steps in the sales process can be completed quickly and easily, once a customer has made their selection.
Beyond the showroom and business offices, the remainder of this huge facility is now set up with a smart production assembly line to enhance the manufacturing process. From check-in point, to conversion process, to final inspection, right down to the tires, every department has plenty of room and the best equipment to maximize on efficiency and quality, and minimize the pitfalls that can occur when a company outgrows their work environment. This expansion promises to relieve some of the growing pains that increased sales has brought to AMS and should provide long-term comfort and ease when building and delivering their mobility vans.
