AMS Vans, Inc. partnered with Kids Wish Network to help a young boy meet one of his heroes. In March of 2005 Kids Wish Network arranged for Kodie to meet Dale Earnhardt, Jr. and attend a race here in Atlanta. AMS Vans, Inc. supported Kids Wish Network and Kodie's dream by donating a wheelchair accessible van for Kodie and his family to use while in Atlanta. The following letter was received from the Kids Wish Network in April 2005:

Dear Jim,

On Behalf of everyone at Kids Wish Network, I would like to thank you for making Kodie's wish come true. He thoroughly enjoyed riding in your van during his trip to Atlanta. I have enclosed an official Guardian Angel Plaque, a video CD and a picture of Kodie's visit as reminders of your kindness and generosity. I've also included a Guardian Angel Coin for you. Rumor has it that the coin will make your dreams come true!!!

Thank you for taking the time and caring enough to make a difference in the life of a child.
